Early Freak Snow Storm

Just had to post this since the snow will soon be a memory, like a strange dream..... At least I now have proof it was real! And no, snow this time of year is not usual for these parts. Not even close. Now maybe we can get back to Autumn!

Facebook

Yep, I'm finally on Facebook and surprise to me...it's kinda fun! If you'd like to be Facebook friends so we can write on each other's walls or even play a game of Scrabulous, click HERE to add me :)

I've also put some playlists together, one of some of my favorite love songs on this blog, and one of some favorites from various genres on my Facebook page. They're set up to play in random order and I'll be adding a lot more to both lists. You can even pop out the player so it'll play in its own window! Then you can see more controls since I kind of squished it here and you can't even see the whole list of songs I have on it. And, if you pop it out, you can keep listening even after you're finished with my blog. So enjoy some feel good happy love songs!

Atlas

Here's a video clip of my daughter Lindsey (on the guitar) performing one of the latest songs she's written called "Atlas." Enjoy!

what does THIS dancer say about YOU?

This was fun but totally freaky! I finally got her to go both directions and even slow down, then I did a little research. Here's a link you should read before taking your results literally - Short Sharp Science

Fireworks!

I love this country I live in and also this wonderful community out in the middle of the potato and grain fields of Idaho. There is a family out here that puts on the most awesome fireworks display every 4th of July that beats anything I've ever seen in the cities. Great music, food, friends, a patriotic spirit, and spectacular fireworks! I took my camera gear along this year and had a lot of fun shooting the display in the crystal clear night sky.
